Doing some spring cleaning? Unsure of what to do with those old cell phone in your junk drawer? We have a solution for you!
Women-in STEM (WINS) club at PRA HS is collecting old electronics to raise money. WINS plans to keep a portion of the proceeds to fund field trips and activities. Additionally, we will donate half of the proceeds to the Trevor Project.
What can you donate? Cell phones, tablets, aircards, hotspots, bluetooth, ink cartridges/toner and any accessories related to cell phones, tablets, and handheld devices, such as chargers and cases.
Please note that we cannot accept donations of laptops or computers.
Collection boxes can be found in both the K8 and HS front offices. Donations are being accepted between Monday, March 10 and Friday, March 21.
All donated items will be wiped of all personal data and information by The Wireless Alliance. Next, The Wireless Alliance determines if the items can be refurbished or recycled. Lastly, WINS receives a portion of the sales based on the determination of next use. Please check out The Wireless Alliance for more information.
